The Yorkshire 3 Peaks
Lots of our guests come to take on The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, which starts right here in Horton in Ribblesdale.
Here's some useful info for anyone attempting the 24.3 mile route, along with some links for maps, t-shirts, annual events, hints and tips, and more.

There are two official 3 Peaks races each year. The Three Peaks race is one of the oldest fell races in the UK and takes place each April - . The other is the Yorkshire Three Peaks Cyclo-Cross race which takes place each September.

For those of you who prefer a shorter walk, check out these routes instead.
If you're staying at The Rowe House to do the Y3P, you can also order a Y3P kit for your group. The kit includes A t-shirt or hoody each, an OS Map, certificates, and a donation to support maintenance of the route and wider national park. We can also put you in touch with a guide to lead your group if needed, and a chef to cook for you after your challenge too.
